Headcanons

General + pre-VA

• Narancia was really close with his mother, and her loss was devastating. To this day, he visits her grave regularly, bringing fresh flowers, keeping it clean and just staying there to talk to her and cry his heart out.
His family isn't big; out of his living relatives he only has his father and a grandfather who seems to care about Narancia's well-being even less.

• Narancia tried drugs for the first time when he was thirteen, having bought some sketchy stuff together with two of his "friends" from the streets. Hell knows how he survived the experience, but he swore to himself he's never touching them again.

• Shortly after getting out of prison, Narancia found a rusty knife and cut off the bleached tips of his hair with it, pretty much as a way of saying goodbye to his past mistakes of trusting the wrong people. He kept the knife and used it for a while before getting better blades; however, the first knife (which he named Stella) is kept in his collection.

• After successfully joining Passione, while rehearsing his meeting with Bruno in front of a mirror, Narancia had a last-minute panic attack. The stressful moment was when he summoned Aerosmith for the first time, which resulted in breaking the mirror.

• Narancia has some scars; one of the most visible ones comes from the broken mirror shard which scarred the side of his wrist in a perfectly straight vertical line; however, the scar is covered by his wristbands so it's not visible. Another scar he has is on the lower right part of his stomach, and is a result of a knife accident. It serves as a reminder to be careful with blades. Despite the scars being covered up, Narancia isn't self-conscious about them.

• He's extremely skilled at breakdancing, and is quite fond of copying some popular modern dance moves at random. However, he's too embarrassed to try other kinds of dances like salsa or slow dance or any kind of folk dance.

• His singing voice is...not the most pleasant thing to hear. It's always out of tune. However, his sense of rhythm is top notch.

• Food habits: he thinks pineapples on pizza are quite alright. So is orange juice with cereal. Bowl first, juice second, cereal third. Also, sometimes he eats oranges without peeling them. Like an apple. (It gets messy, though)

• He isn't too big of a drinker, but he can't say no to a glass of good wine with his lunch, or to some shots when he's in a fun mood. (He hasn't yet been completely wasted, though)

• Narancia showers regularly, but he sometimes forgets to use shampoo. He loves fruity scented shampoos and shower gels.
Also, he never blow dries his hair (even during cold seasons) because he hates how fluffy it gets.

• Narancia has a thorough knife care routine. He's acquired (bought/stolen/got gifted) various knife maintenance tools and he takes good care of his blades. Generally, his room is usually a mess, but his desk is always neat and organized whenever it's "knife time".

• He owns a star projector lamp in which he carved slightly bigger stars, each one for his closest friends: Bucciarati, Abbacchio, Mista, Fugo.
Before he goes to sleep, he looks at these stars and thinks of them.

• If he likes you, he will be more than happy to teach you how to do the torture dance.

Post-VA headcanons

• Narancia was badly injured during the battle with Diavolo. The metal bars have pierced his body, however it wasn't enough to kill him with the way he was positioned, and Giorno's healing saved his life, so he was able to aid his friends as they moved forward. However, the near death experience left him traumatized; he still sees nightmares connected to that particular moment.

• He kiiiind of dislikes Colosseum.

• Narancia stayed to work for the new boss, Giorno Giovanna, whose leadership and personality he's grown quite fond of. He also stays more connected to his friends. The star projector now has two more stars carved in it, one for Giorno and one for Trish.

• He keeps contact with Fugo, and still considers him a very close friend even though they don't spent that much time together.

• Narancia sometimes keeps Polnareff company within the turtle; he also uses that space as a quiet place to focus on studying. At the moment he's getting prepared for school, just like he wanted.

• At some point, he got interested in art and illustration, especially after meeting his favourite mangaka Rohan Kishibe; getting encouragement from his friends only made him even more hooked on that idea. Noriaki Kakyoin, in particular, was very helpful in helping Narancia get better at art, with little tips and tricks like "how to draw hands" and such.

• Narancia got a red maine coon cat named Pepperoni from Vlad Dracula himself (it's...a long story of little rivalry turned father-son relationship). The cat is extremely smart and friendly, and is trained to deliver paper notes to Giorno. (Narancia is trying to teach him to bring notes to Mista as well but it's not working yet)

• Meeting Joseph Joestar and Caesar Zeppeli pretty much changed his life; him and the couple have a very warm mutual relationship, and he wants to make a star tattoo as a sign of his respect and love to the men who's been better dads to him than his own father ever was.

• The only time he visited his actual father (also the first time in years, and last time ever) was when he came to tell him to sign the disowning papers.

Older Narancia headcanons
(from his mid-twenties & further on)

• He has finished school, as well as an art school (thanks to Joseph who paid for his education). He's also trained in using Hamon by Caesar Zeppeli.

• He is still working with Passione, doing jobs for Don Giovanna; absolutely not looking for a higher rank, more than satisfied with his normal tasks as Passione's soldato & scout.

• Aside from mafia, Narancia has two other jobs (which are also his hobbies). He makes creative and complex paintjobs on cars, motorcycles, etc. Another one is custom knife manufacturing. He bought a garage which pretty much serves as his workshop.

• The custom knife work is probably his biggest passion; the knives he makes /will/ be expensive, but also customized to extreme, and highly functional. Whenever someone orders a knife, he usually has a couple coffees with the person to get to know them better, as well as study their preferences, offer to test blade examples and such.

• He made Giorno a rapier for his 25th birthday. While it may come off as a decorative item due to its complex design, it's an actual functioning sword.

• He has a star tattoo on the back of his neck. Also, there's a cartoony tattoo of clouds and an airplane (resembling Aerosmith, but orange) on his left forearm.

• Trish's little daughter is his favourite pranking buddy, as well as a new torture dance partner. He gladly spends time both with the kid and his old friend.

Bonus: Aerosmith Requiem

An innocent citizen sold Narancia the arrow piece for 50 euros; the result turned his stand into a humanoid Transformer-like being that can turn into a real functioning plane, and back into its smaller form at will.

This Narancia RP mostly sticks to the post-VA timeline (he & the others survived), but different timelines/versions may apply depending on the other character(s) that he interacts with. (For example, switch to VA/pre-VA, or to a future AU).

While I mostly do TL banter & crack RP, I'm more than open for serious, long SLs, although the latter might be slow-paced, mostly because I might be busy IRL or just lacking inspiration. Lewd will not take place.
